The Preseason Small Town Preseason All-American teams feature at least five players who should finish their careers with over 3,000 points, including two who could end up with over 4,000 points.
To be eligible to become a Small Town All-American, players must attend schools with an enrollment of fewer than 1,000 students in a town with a population under 10,000.

Preseason Small Town All-AmericansFirst Team
Tori Oehrlein, Crosby-Ironton (Crosby, Minn.), 5-11, Junior
With two seasons still left to play, Oehrlein already has 3,439 points. She averaged 35.1 points per game last year and has already committed to play at Minnesota.
Ace Austin, Spring Garden (Ala.), 5-6, Senior
The highest-rated small town girls basketball player by HoopGurlz, Austin led Spring Garden to back-to-back Class 1A state championships and has scored 2,958 points in her career.
Macie Phifer, Ingomar (New Albany, Miss.), 5-11, Senior
The Class 2A POY in Mississippi, Phifer averaged 20.1 points per game and 6.1 rebounds while leading Ingomar to its third state championship in four seasons.
Iyanna Wade, Clairton (Pa.), 5-4, Senior
Wade led the nation in scoring at 39.9 points per game as a junior. She has led the WPIAL in scoring twice in her career and has 2,149 career points.
Mimi Thiero, Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, Pa.), 6-4, Junior
Ranked as one of the top juniors in the nation, Thiero averaged 19.5 points, 13.9 rebounds and 4.7 blocks as a sophomore.
Second Team
Emmah McAmis, Central Wise (Norton, Va.), 5-6, Senior
The Class 2 POY as a junior while leading Central Wise to a state championship, McAmis begins her senior year with 2,379 career points. She averaged 24.2 points per game last year.
Tamia Watkins, Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, S.C.), 6-2, Senior
Watkins averaged 26.4 points and 12.0 rebounds per game as a junior while leading her team to a state championship.
Caroline Bradley, Oak Grove (La.), 6-5, Sophomore
One of the top-rated sophomores in the country by HoopGurlz, the Oak Grove center earned all-state honors while averaging 18 points per game.
Saniyah Cook, Booneville (Miss.), 6-2, Senior
Cook has played in the state championship game three straight seasons and averaged 18 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks per game last year.
Elsie Larsen, Strafford (Mo.), 5-9, Junior
As a sophomore, Larsen averaged 18.6 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.
Third Team
Leading her team to the Class 2A state championship game last year, Stilwell earned all-state honors and averaged 22.9 points, 6.9 assists and 6.9 steals per game.
Ella Wheeler, Sulligent (Ala.), 5-10, Senior
An all-state selection as a junior last year, Wheeler was one of the leading scorers in the nation as a junior at 28.9 points per game.
Nyshea Hoskin, Nanih Waiya (Louisville, Miss.), 5-7, Senior
All-state pick averaged 25.5 points per game while leading the Warriors to a 24-3 record.
Gabby Spink, Gibson Southern (Fort Branch, Ind.), 5-9, Senior
An all-state selection as a junior, Spink led Gibson Southern to a Class 2A state championship. She averaged 19.3 points per game.
Addison Hoof, Lester Prairie (Minn.), 5-5, Senior
A standout in track and field (two-time 400-meter champion) and cross country, Hoof has scored 2,204 career points and averaged 27.3 points a game last year.
