The
Kansas City Star reported today that
Bol Bol, the nation's No. 14 junior basketball player in the country, is transferring from
Bishop Miege (Shawnee Mission, Kan.).
Bishop Miege coach Rick Zyck confirmed to Kansas City Star reporter
Ashley Scoby that Bol is moving on but doesn't know where he'll land. "I
wish him the best," Zyck told Scoby.
The rangy 7-foot, 213-pound son of Manute Bol is reportedly headed to California, though that has yet to be confirmed.
Matt Scott,
of 247Sports, cited an unnamed source to say Bol is expected to enroll at national power Mater Dei (Santa Ana). Legendary Mater Dei coach Gary McKnight told Eric Sondheimer of the Los Angeles Times, there "has not been a Bol Bol sighting."
Even If Bol winds up at Mater Dei his eligibility this season would be in question.
Stay tuned.
