Talk about going out on top. Earlier this month, St. Peter's Prep head coach Rich Hansen announced the 2020 season would be his last after leading the program for 33 years, winning 270 games and five New Jersey state titles – including last year when the Marauders beat longtime nemesis Don Bosco Prep in the Non-Public Group 4 championship game.
St. Peter's Prep enters the 2020 campaign ranked No. 1 once again in New Jersey, thanks in part to senior quarterback
Tahj Bullock. As a junior, the Virginia Tech pledge threw for 2,274 yards and 26 touchdowns (against just six interceptions) while running for another 480 yards and six scores.
The Marauders also return leading rusher
Paul Lefkowitz (717 yards, 6 TDs) and defensive lineman
George Rooks, who has 20 FBS offers.
Prep's biggest threat may be familiar foe Don Bosco Prep, who gave the Marauders fits in both meetings last season. A healthy Jake Robbins at quarterback should mean big things for the Ironmen.
