A re-occurring trend will likely carry itself out again during the California Interscholastic Federation Bowl Games next week in Carson.

Serra (Gardena, Calif.) receiver is headed to USC.
George Farmer, rated the No. 2 receiver in the country by MaxPreps and CBS College Sports recruiting expert Tom Lemming, reportedly told USC coach Lane Kiffin Friday that he would be following former Serra teammate Robert Woods to be a Trojan.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Farmer called Kiffin shortly before his team's 35-10 win over Arroyo Grande in a Southern Section Western Division title victory on Friday.
Farmer, like Woods, also a track star in the 200- and 400-meter dashes, went on to catches two passes, including a 59-yard touchdown touchdown pass leading his team to a second straight section title. He has 60 catches for 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns this season.
Woods and Farmer teamed to lead Serra to a CIF State Division III Bowl victory last year.
After Friday's win, Serra (14-0) is almost assuredly going to be selected to represent Southern California in the Division II game. (The school moved up in enrollment size, thus the change upward in classification).
Serra is No. 22 in the Xcellent 25 national rankings. It has won 29 straight games.
"It's big what we did here at Serra," Farmer told Ben Bolch of the Los Angeles Times. "But it's going to be even bigger when we do it in college."
Farmer hopes he can be as prolific in the state bowl game as Woods was last year when he had eight catches for 180 yards and two touchdowns in a 24-20 win over Marin Catholic-Kentfield.
