Video: Zach Davis' highlights vs. Lyman Hall
See the Sheenah back run for a record 543 yards rushing.
For the second time this year, Zach Davis of Sheehan has broken the Connecticut state single game rushing record.
With 543 yards rushing in a 58-22 win over Lyman Hall, Davis broke his own state record for yards rushing in a single game. He set that mark with 541 yards on Oct. 28 against Law.
There have been just six 500-yard rushing games in state history and Davis, who had 520 yards rushing in the final game of the 2015 season, owns three of them.
Davis finishes the season with 3,588 yards, which ranks No. 4 all-time in Connecticut.
Davis's effort highlights this week's list of national high school football stat stars.
