The Cavinder twins —
Haley and
Hanna — are among the hottest names in college basketball after leading No. 9 seed Miami to an upset win over No. 1 Indiana and a Sweet 16 berth in the women's NCAA Tournament.
Haley and Hanna had on-court success in high school at
Gilbert (Ariz.) long before becoming TikTok (4.4 million followers), Instagram (150,000 followers) and NIL sensations.
As seniors at Gilbert, Haley averaged 21.8 points and 8.9 rebounds while Hanna posted 21.7 points and 6.1 rebounds per game to help the Tigers get to the 2019 5A state championship game before falling 66-40 to Millennium.

The Cavinders helped Gilbert go 87-31 during their four years in the program with a pair of semifinal appearances in addition to the 2019 title game.
This season for Miami, Haley leads the Hurricanes in scoring, averaging 12.6 points per game. Hanna comes off the bench, and is fourth on the team in 3-pointers made. The Hurricanes face No. 4 seed Villanova on Friday looking to get to the Elite 8.
The Cavinders transferred to Miami after spending three seasons at Fresno State out of high school and were among the first to cash in on the NIL rules. They arrived in Coral Gables this season already millionaires from their many endorsements, built largely on their TikTok fame from videos done during pandemic down time.
