There wasn't a ton of movement in the power rankings this week, but there was certainly enough to keep things interesting. Among the action were the efforts of Monona Grove's senior Jordan Bishop, an offensive menace who scored five total TDs.
Can't Touch This
Monona Grove got a 35 - 14 win over Watertown last week, and a key reason for the win was senior Jordan Bishop. Bishop tossed the ball for 288 yards and five TDs. That performance landed Bishop among the top power-ranked players for the week.
This Week's Big Showdown
The clash of the power ranking titans last week was between Hudson (12th in the MaxPreps state rankings) and Chippewa Falls (37th). Hudson came up short against Chippewa Falls, falling 17 - 7. Hudson unfortunately couldn't repeat the imposing 43-point effort it came up with in its previous game.
No Stoppin 'Em
The New Berlin Eisenhower offense has been a force to be reckoned with this season, and last week was no different. It picked up a decisive 'W' against Messmer/Shorewood, finishing up at 55 - 20. The MaxPreps rankings were spot on as they projected New Berlin Eisenhower as the clear winner. The combined 75 points was the most of any game featuring a power-ranked team.
