Paul VI returns the vast majority of its core that finished the Washington Catholic Athletic Confrence regular season undefeated last season, won the VISAA Division 1 state championship and ended the year ranked No. 12 in the nation.

In recent years, the Panthers have establish themselves as an elite basketball program in the top conference in high school basketball. They have captured the second most regular season titles and most conference titles in the WCAC since 2011-12.

Top returners include — second team MaxPreps Sophomore All-American Roach, honorable mention MaxPreps Freshman All-American selection Keels and talented 4-star guard Harris, among others.

Paul VI travels to the City of Palms, Slam Dunk to the Beach, Spalding Hoophall Classic and ARS National Hoopfest all before taking on its daunting conference schedule that includes match-ups with No. 6 DeMatha twice.

Along with contending for the WCAC crown, the Panthers have set goals of contending for the Alhambra Invitational and VISAA state championships in 2018-19.
