Johnny Manziel were up to their old tricks over the weekend, both passing for more than 500 yards.
Mauk completed 28 of 37 passes for 516 yards and five touchdowns as Kenton routed Van Wert (Ohio), 70-34. Wide receiver
Max Morrison was on the receiving end nine times for 219 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Kenton finished with 709 total yards.
Manziel, a University of Oregon recruit, threw an incredible 75 passes while completing 41 for 503 yards and four touchdowns during a 39-34 victory over talented Madison (San Antonio, Texas). He also ran for 78 yards and one touchdown, having a hand (or foot) in all but one of his team’s 582 yards.
Kason Fornes had 12 catches for 213 yards and two touchdowns.
