The Tornadoes left a wake of destruction as they spun through Georgia, and by the time the storm dies down,
Washington (Miami) could end up being ranked the No. 1 team in the nation.
Washington stuck it to No. 3
Norcross (Ga.) on national television Saturday night, registering a 55-0 whitewashing that featured a running clock for the final quarter. The Torandoes were too fast, too strong and too active for the Blue Devils to even slow down.

Treon Harris ran the show in magnificent fashion for the team that came into the contest ranked No. 9 in the Xcellent 25. The Florida State commit went 23-for-28 with five touchdowns and 287 yards in just three quarters of action.
He found
Krondis Larry for a 10-yard touchdown to start the scoring, then later
Tevin Evans recovered a fumble that set up a 22-yard touchdown pass from Harris to
Lamar Parker on fourth down to make it 14-0. On the ensuing kickoff, a fumble by Norcross' Myles Autry was taken to the end zone by
Andre Duncombe.
Just like that, it was 21-0, and the blowout was on. It swelled to 34-0 with 10:43 left in the third quarter when
Terrawn McPhee caught the first of two scoring passes and
Vaquan Smalls caught one as well.
A lot of television attention on the ESPN broadcast was devoted to Norcross star defensive end
Lorenzo Carter. The young man who held him in check was Washington lineman
Jordan Ingraham, who got credit on the telecast and through numerous Twitter mentions for keeping Carter out of the backfield.
