Video: High School Softball Player Does Flip Before Showing Off Bat TricksThe Connecticut high school softball season opened Saturday. Or at least it was supposed to open. After a March that came in like a lamb and ended like one, too, a cold rain washed out most games. Chances are that a few more days of the season will be postponed with temperatures continuing to drop and a wintery mix in the forecast.
The softball season will start at some point this week, freezing temperatures and all, so here's a list of the top 10 hitters and pitchers returning this season based on information provided to MaxPreps last season. Is there someone who should be on the list but isn't? Encourage their coach to supply stats on MaxPreps, and contact support@maxpreps.com with any questions or issues.
