Clovis North (Fresno, Calif.) couldn't stop
Edison (Fresno, Calif.), it did manage to squeak out the 37-34 victory.
The Broncos were up 30-14 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Christian Rossi to
Tymon Locklin in the first quarter.
Clovis North saw its 16-point halftime lead fall to 11 entering the fourth.
CN was ahead by as much as 23 before the Tigers pulled closer.
The Broncos' most effective player was
Bolu Olorunfunmi. The sophomore running back ran for two touchdowns.
Khari McGee played well for Edison. The junior quarterback threw one touchdown and ran for one touchdown.
The defeat comes as a step back for Edison, which notched a 42-21 victory over Frontier in its previous outing. With the win Clovis North extended its winning streak to four games.
