Playoff time has arrived for Texas high school girls basketball. Action gets underway in all six classifications this week with UIL championship games scheduled for March 10-11 at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
COVID-19 concerns prevented the state from crowning champions in 2020, so defending champions from 2019 include Duncanville (6A), Frisco Liberty (5A), Fairfield (4A), Shallowater (3A), Gruver (2A) and Nazareth (1A).
