Freshman of the Year in 2019 and leads the players selected on the preseason Sophomore High School All-American Football Team. He is the lone selection from Louisiana while California leads the way with 12.

LB — Justin Benton, Newton (Covington, Ga.) | 6-3 | 245Racked up 76 tackles and nine sacks as a freshman playing in Georgia's largest classification.
The Monarchs have had some big-time linebackers come through their program and Su'a has the talent to be the next great one.
Helped lead Jones (Orlando) to the 5A state championship game as a freshman finishing with 78 tackles and 14 sacks. Transferred to IMG Academy in April.
The shutdown cornerback already has over 20 FBS offers and played a major role for the 7A state champs as a freshman.

The talented defensive back finished his freshman season with 63 tackles and five interceptions.

Second Team Offense
Threw for over 2,700 yards and 33 touchdowns for Michigan's Division 2 state finalist.
Started under center for Duncanville (Texas) in the 6A Division 1 state championship game and recently transferred to Red Oak. When 247Sports releases its player rankings for the Class of 2023 he will be one of the top-rated dual-threat quarterbacks.
Has all the tools to be the top-rated quarterback from the Class of 2023.
Accounted for nearly 3,000 yards of total offense and 38 touchdowns for the Division 3 state champs.
Rushed for over 1,000 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2019.
Played a huge roll for a 13-1 Dragons team last season rushing for over 1,200 yards and 23 touchdowns.
The Patriots are loaded with talent and Fletcher will be one of their top players this season. He averaged nearly nine yards per carry as a freshman.
Claude Mathis has the Eagles back competing with the state's best and Cook will be on of their top playmakers for the next three years.
Factored in on offense as a freshman and will make an even bigger impact this season.
Matt Logan's offense is always one of the most productive in the country and expect the former Calabasas (Calif.) receiver to be a key factor.

Second Team Defense
Made a huge impact on defense for the 6A state champs as a freshman. Racked up 20 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks.
Was a key player for one of the top programs in Ohio last season.
Ended his freshman campaign with 80 tackles and five sacks at Southwest (Miami). Recently transferred and should make an immediate impact for a team that went 10-1 last season.
A lot of talented defensive lineman have come through New Jersey and Mitchell is next up.
Played
sub-varsity last season and saw some time on varsity in the playoffs
but expect him to make an impact on defense for one of the top programs
in Texas.
Finished his freshman season with over 100 tackles and four interceptions.
His older brother Jeremiah Trotter Jr. is one of the best linebackers in the country and the younger Trotter is following the same path.
Finished his freshman campaign with 90 tackles and 23 tackles for loss.
One of the top players in the state regardless of class.
Made an impact for one of the top programs in Southern California as a freshman finishing the year with 43 tackles and four interceptions.
The Peach State is loaded for the Class of 2023 and especially in the secondary. Daugherty made an impact as a freshman and will be a key player on defense for the No. 9 team entering the 2020 season.
Has already hit double-digits offers and had five interceptions for the state finalists.
Was expected to start as a freshman but tore his ACL before the season started. Expect him to make an impact for the No. 15 team in the country.
One of the top players in Kansas regardless of class has already landed 15 FBS offers.
Makes plays on both sides of the ball at a high level and USC, Tennessee, and Oregon have already offered.
