Tennessee places 77 on 2012 NISCA All-American Swimming list

With the U.S. Olympic swimming team nearing the Olympics, the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association recently released its list of high school All-Americans.

The lists compile the top 100 performances in each event during the recently completed school year. Tennessee ranked 15th overall nationally in the number of athletes, while California came in at No. 1 with 750 honorees.

Led by Chatham Dobbs of Montgomery Bell Academy and Kristen Vredeveld of Baylor, Tennessee had 47 boys All-Americans and 30 girls honorees, respectively.
