Even though the Chopticon Braves have not done well against the North Point Eagles recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way  on Wednesday. Chopticon enjoyed a cozy  66-52 win over the Eagles. The  win made it back-to-back wins for Chopticon.
 Chopticon was led to victory by  Brian McMahon and  Braylon Harrison.  McMahon  scored 16 points along with four  steals, while  Harrison  scored 22 points along with six  rebounds.  Jordan Pernell was another key contributor,  scoring eight points along with nine  assists.
 When it comes to explaining why North Point lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Robert "rt" taylor. Despite the final result, he  scored 23 points along with five  rebounds and three  steals. "rt" taylor is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was  Collin Farmer, who  scored 12 points.
 Chopticon's win was  their seventh straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 9-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.1 points per game. As for North Point, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
 Chopticon will head out on the road to  square off against  the Chargers at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Lackey is coming into the  contest on a three-game losing streak. As for North Point, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against the Raiders at 6:30  p.m. Hopefully Leonardtown focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 14 on Wednesday.
