The Evergreen Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Longmont Trojans at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Evergreen will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
 Winning is just a little bit easier when  your three-point shooting is a whole 28% better than the opposition, a fact Evergreen proved  on Tuesday. They strolled past Denver North with  points to spare, taking the game  48-32.
 Evergreen's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Addison  McEvers, who  dropped  a double-double on 19 points and 11  rebounds.  Mary Cox was another key contributor,  scoring eight points along with seven  steals.
 Meanwhile, Longmont didn't have too much trouble with Summit on the road   on Saturday as they won  47-33. 47 seems to be a good number for Longmont as the  team scooped up a  victory with the same number of  points in their previous game.
 Longmont got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Kaila Patterson out in front who  scored 18 points along with four  steals. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for  Patterson. The team also got some help courtesy of  Savannah Pohl, who  dropped  a double-double on ten points and ten  rebounds.
 Evergreen's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Longmont,  the  victory  makes it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 3-1.
 Evergreen came up short against Longmont in their previous meeting  back in December of 2022, falling  46-40. Can Evergreen avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
