Mark Keppel gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Sierra Vista Dons by a score of 5-1. The Aztecs haven't had any issues with the Dons recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Robyn Guitron was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Guitron was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
