The Columbia Eagles stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Tucker 69-28 at home. Winning may never get old, but Columbia sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Nia Anderson was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 12 steals. Kendall Campbell was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Despite the defeat, Tucker saw an underclassman step up: Jaymee Carter scored 13 points.
Columbia's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.1 points per game. As for Tucker, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.
Columbia's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Landmark Christian at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Columbia is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 56.9 points per game this season. Tucker does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
