The Munford Cougars entered their tilt with the Raleigh-Egypt Pharaohs with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. Munford skirted past Raleigh-Egypt 70-68. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Munford's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Murray Norman, who scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Bell, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds.
Munford pushed their record up to 18-2 with that victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.6 points per game. As for Raleigh-Egypt, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-7.
