Trenton Catholic Academy put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season on Monday. They claimed a resounding 64-34 win over Cinnaminson on the road. The victory was just what Trenton Catholic Academy needed coming off of a 67-45 defeat in their prior matchup.
Mayah Alford was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. She hasn't dropped below nine rebounds for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Kayla Oliphant, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 62 points the game before, Holy Cross were a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They fell just short of Camden Catholic by a score of 24-21.
Trenton Catholic Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-7. As for Holy Cross, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.
