She was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in February.
 In other batting news, DeSoto Central got a  massive  performance out of  Kaylee Tucker, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave  Tucker a new career-high in  RBI (three). Another player making a difference was  Katelyn Short, who  went 3-for-4 with four  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 DeSoto Central  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tipton-Rosemark Academy only posted  an  OBP of  .310.
DeSoto Central's victory was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 16-2. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Tipton-Rosemark Academy,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 8-7.
 DeSoto Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  game,  a  20-0  victory against Horn Lake on the 31st.
