They never let Herculaneum onto the board and left with  a   16-0  victory  last Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
 Jefferson now  has a losing record at 9-10. As for Festus, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight games,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record  this season.
 Jefferson might still be hurting after the  13-1 loss they got from Festus  when the teams last played  back in September of 2023. Can Jefferson avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
