The Rowland Hall Winged Lions will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Granger Lancers at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Two weeks ago, things could have been worse for Rowland Hall, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 60-43 loss to Enterprise. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Rowland Hall has scored all season.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Luc Dowdle, who scored 14 points. The match was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Yeshi Tsering, who scored 11 points.
Rowland Hall struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Granger's game on Thursday was all tied up 27-27 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 57-49 to Providence Hall.
Rowland Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Granger, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
