The Gridley Bulldogs will head out to  challenge the Pierce Bears  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Gridley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.5  runs per game  this season.

 The  victory made it two in a row for Pierce and  bumps their season record up to 6-10. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 17.5 runs over those games. As for Gridley, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
 Wednesday's   game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Gridley hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .474. However, it's not like Pierce struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .335. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
