Kenny Jager Dazzles in Chicago Christian Victory
Starting off the list is Chicago Christian's Kenny Jager, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Jager rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.
The victory (which was Chicago Christian's fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Jager will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Aurora Christian on Friday.

Flutman Made His Presence Known in Chicago Christian's 42-0 Win
Chicago Christian picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Christian Flutman. Flutman was unstoppable, throwing for 163 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushing for 34 yards.
Christ the King had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Flutman it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Flutman saw the Gladiators), he rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 141 yards and two touchdowns.

Wheaton Academy Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to London Leflore
Wheaton Academy picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to London Leflore. Leflore was dynamite, rushing for 25 yards and two touchdowns.
Wheaton Academy pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Leflore's next game is against Marian Central Catholic on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Brandon Kiebles and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Brandon Kiebles was instrumental in extending Wheaton Academy's winning streak to seven on Friday. Kiebles was dynamite, making two total tackles.

Big Game from Downey As Wheaton Academy Won 41-0
Wheaton Academy picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Nathan Downey. Downey did his part (and then some), throwing for 113 yards and a touchdown while completing 78.6% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground for the 'W'. What's more, he also racked up 27 rushing yards, the mosthe's had since back in September of 2023.
For the year, Downey has thrown 17 touchdowns (and and only 2 picks) while averaging 163 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to three.
