 Tioga's loss  came despite strong showings from  Greeley McAden and  Jaxson Hurst.  McAden rushed for 90 yards and a pair of  scores on only ten carries, while  Hurst picked up 131 receiving yards and one  TD. With that strong performance,  Hurst is now averaging an impressive 103.1  receiving yards per game.
As for Alvord, the  victory was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2. The  wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.8 points on average over those games.
