Payton Niehaus was another key pass catcher, picking up 85 receiving yards and a pair of  scores.
 Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 18 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of  Niehaus, who ran a punt back for a touchdown. Another bright spot was a kickoff return touchdown from  Jaylen Easterling.
 Meanwhile, Adamsville's  matchup on Friday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They took their  contest  with ease, bagging  a  41-14 victory over Tishomingo County. The Cardinals pushed the score to  34-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Braves had  little chance of recovering from.
 Mt. Pleasant's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Adamsville, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
