Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noelle Sunukjian, who scored eight points along with nine steals. Those nine steals set a new season-high mark for her. Sedona Dietrich was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. As for Thatcher, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.

Empire has now lost 13 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 27. As for Thatcher, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Safford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Safford has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games.
