The Buena Bulldogs came into Wednesday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past Dos Pueblos, posting a 77-48 victory at home. That's another feather in the cap for Buena, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Luke Ortiz, who shot 5-for-11 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Josh ullegue, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Buena's victory bumped their record up to 12-16. As for Dos Pueblos, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-16 record this season.
Buena does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Dos Pueblos also has no future games currently scheduled.
