Coleman is 9-1 against Carson City-Crystal since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Comets will be playing at home against the Eagles  at 4:00  p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Coleman came out on top against St. Charles  on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run first inning. The Comets skirted past the Bulldogs  15-13. The Comets haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive  victory against them.
 Raegen McCoy and  Klaira Sysak did most of the damage at the plate:  McCoy  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with two  runs and one  RBI, while  Sysak  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with three  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Eliza Lewis, who  went 1-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
 Coleman  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .558. They are  a perfect 5-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Carson City-Crystal never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by  a  10-0 margin over Tri County Area. Considering the Eagles' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
  Haedee Clark was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and one  double. Those  four  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  Calli Heleski was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double.
 Coleman's win bumped their record up to 12-16. As for Carson City-Crystal,  with the  victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-11.
 Everything went Coleman's way against Carson City-Crystal in their previous matchup  back in April of 2024, as Coleman made off with  a  13-3 win. Will the Comets repeat their success,  or do  the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
