The Trinity League is arguably the toughest high school football league in the nation, so it shouldn't be any surprise that the league dominates the MaxPreps California All-State Football Team.
A total of 14 players from the Trinity League made the the 90-member squad that includes a first, second and third team.
Mater Dei (Santa Ana) tops the list with seven players, including MaxPreps California Player of the Year
Jordon Davidson.
St. John Bosco (Bellflower) has four players honored while
JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano) has two and
Orange Lutheran (Orange) one.
Kirk Clifton of
Sonora is the Coach of the Year. After spending 16 years as an assistant with the Wildcats, Clifton took over as head coach in 2024. In his first season, Clifton led Sonora to a 13-2 record and a 4-A state championship.
