Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ironton). They put the hurt on the Chesapeake Panthers with a sharp 20-3 win on Monday. Considering the Fighting Tigers have won ten matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Aubrey Ferguson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Ferguson was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
