South Summit was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight  loss. They fell victim to a  rough 21-6 defeat at the hands of the Grantsville Cowboys. The result was an unpleasant reminder to South Summit of the  5-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  last Tuesday.
  Wiley Crystall made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Body Miltenbugery, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-2.
 On Grantsville's side,  Easton Webb was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Webb was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 In other pitching news,  Mason Butler looked comfortable as he  tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 Back at the plate, Grantsville got a  massive  performance out of  Krue Warren, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Jordan Fawson, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 South Summit's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Grantsville, they pushed their record up to 17-1 with that  victory, which was their 16th straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Coincidentally,  the pair will both be playing Union the next time they take the field. South Summit will  host Union at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday, while Grantsville will  host them  at 3:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
