When it comes to explaining why Cardinal Newman lost, one person who can't be blamed is Evan Carter. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 13 points and 10 rebounds. Carter scored a full 31.7% of Cardinal Newman's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Peeples , who scored 12 points.
