Basketball Recap: Potomac Falls Piles Up the Points Against Broad Run

Potomac Falls posted their biggest victory since January 8th on Wednesday. They really took it to the Broad Run Spartans for the full four quarters, racking up a 75-43 win. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Potomac Falls to victory, but perhaps none more so than Adit Apte, who went 7 of 13 en route to 21 points and three steals. That's the most points Apte has posted since back in December of 2024. Brennan Hytten was another key player, going 8 for 9 on his way to 20 points.

Potomac Falls' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-4. As for Broad Run, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.

Potomac Falls will challenge Briar Woods at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Briar Woods is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.6 points per game this season. Broad Run has already played their next contest, a 69-41 win against Loudoun County on the 6th.
