Thorkelson has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts every time she's  pitched this season. Thorkelson was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-3 with  an  RBI.
 In other batting news, Snow Canyon got a  massive  performance out of  Chandler Beck, who  went 3-for-3 with a  home run and three  runs. Another player making a difference was  Alyssa Staheli, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Snow Canyon's victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Dixie, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost ten of their last 11 matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record  this season.
 Snow Canyon will have a chance to go back-to-back against Dixie: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
