Rich took their game at home with ease, bagging a 73-46 win over Big Piney. The victory was familiar territory for Rich who now have three in a row.
Rich was led to victory by Ridge Lundgren and Jaden Desch. Lundgren scored 18 points along with two steals, while Desch dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Drake Weston, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Rich has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Big Piney, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-9.
Rich won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Manila at 7:00 p.m. on January 27th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Manila is ranked 84th, while Rich is ranked 71st). As for Big Piney, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Farson-Eden at 7:00 p.m.
