Basketball Recap: Fargo South Finds Home Court Redemption Against Shanley

There's no place like home for Fargo South, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 71-62 win over the Shanley Deacons on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Bruins in their matchups with the Deacons: they've now won three in a row.

Fargo South's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Shanley, they dropped their record down to 1-16 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fargo South will face off against Fargo Davies at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Fargo Davies knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 games -- so hopefully Fargo South likes a good challenge. As for Shanley, they will take on Sheyenne at 7:15 p.m. on February 14th. Sheyenne will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Shanley surely won't give up without a fight.
