The Hodgeman County Longhorns can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They blew past Minneola 61-32 at home. The victory was familiar territory for Hodgeman County who now have three in a row.
Hodgeman County was led to victory by Morgan Ruff and Taylor Bamberger. Ruff scored 11 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds, while Bamberger scored 20 points along with six rebounds and four steals. That's the first time this season that Ruff posted eight or more assists. Blake Dansel was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds.
Minneola's loss came despite strong showings from Braegen Shelor and Maiya Shelor. Shelor dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds, while Shelor scored 17 points along with five rebounds.
Minneola struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Hodgeman County racked up 19 assists.
Hodgeman County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Minneola, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-7.
