While Trinity Hall didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.  Emma Mullins was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She  struck out 13 batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  tossed less than ten  strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with three  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Neve McMenamy and  Helen Taylor did most of the damage at the plate:  McMenamy  went 2-for-3 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI, while  Taylor  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with three  stolen bases and two  runs. Those  two  RBI gave  McMenamy a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Rylee Desiderato, who  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI and one  run.
The  victory made it two in a row for Trinity Hall and  bumps their season record up to 8-3. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 2-5 Keyport and 6-8 Brick Township. As for Keyport, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the  loss, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
 Coming up, Trinity Hall will venture away from home to  take on Red Bank Regional  at 3:45  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Keyport, they will welcome Brick Township  at 3:45  p.m.  on Friday.
