Loss or not, Apollo got some senior leadership from Jenna Dant and Jennifer Lee. Dant dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds, while Lee. dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Apollo has been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 16 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season. As for Muhlenberg County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-15 record this season.
Apollo's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Daviess County at 5:30 p.m. on February 9th. Daviess County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 242 points over their last four matches. As for Muhlenberg County, they will head out on the road to challenge Meade County at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Meade County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Muhlenberg County in Kentucky (Meade County is ranked 24th, while Muhlenberg County is ranked 167th).
