Norfolk Academy won the last time they faced StoneBridge, and Maria Delyannis did her part to make sure it happened again. Everything went the Norfolk Academy Bulldogs' way against the StoneBridge Cavaliers on Friday as the Norfolk Academy Bulldogs made off with a 48-28 win thanks in part to Delyannis, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 23 times she's played.

Lucy Wilson was another key player, putting up eight points and seven steals. What's more, she also posted a 50% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024.

Norfolk Academy's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.5 points over those games. As for StoneBridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-3.

When Norfolk Academy and StoneBridge next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Norfolk Academy will square off against Steward and their five-game winning streak at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, StoneBridge will try to stop Greenbrier Christian Academy's seven-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
