The Savanna Rebels had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points), and they went ahead and made it 11 on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Century 81-51 at home. Savanna has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Dontey Henderson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points along with two steals. He hasn't dropped below 15 points for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Brandon Ellis, who scored 13 points.
Savanna is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. As for Century, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-14.
Savanna will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Western at 6:00 p.m. Western is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Century, they will face off against Santa Ana Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
