Dallas Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Temple Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
Dallas Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Chris Stephens and Sam White. Stephens scored 14 points, while White scored 14 points along with 8 rebounds.
Dallas Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Temple Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 1-3.
Dallas Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Amarillo Collegiate Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. As for Temple Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Heritage Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
