Great Lakes region 2021 top 250 high school football players: Offense

Who are the top high school football seniors in the Great Lakes region entering the 2020-21 school year? Below is our list of offensive players to watch.

With North Coast communities and high school football programs continuing to push forward during the Coronavirus pandemic, when kickoff does comes, all eyes on will be on these guys. So far, Illinois and Minnesota are the only two of the eight Great Lakes states to move football to 2021.

Five-star recruit and Ohio State commit is ranked the No. 3 overall pro-style quarterback prospect nationally and the No. 21 overall prospect regardless of position. Also and Elite 11 Finalist and All-American Bowl selection. Threw for school record 2,883 yards as a sophomore. Missed last month of the season last year with injury. Looking to lead Hawks to third straight PIAA title. Pennsylvania Football Writers Class 6A All-State. Says 247sports recruiting analyst Brian Dohn: “Wide-shouldered frame with good height and size. Nation's No. 10 dual threat quarterback prospect and the Golden Gophers second-highest ranked recruit in the current class. Has physical tools and intangibles to be a Power 5 starter and develop into an NFL player."

Jackson Acker, Verona (Wis.)
