With a playoff game on the line, Hanahan rose to the challenge  on Thursday. They blew past the Newberry Bulldogs 3-0. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Hawks.
 Hanahan was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-17,  25-20.
  Ella Cameron paced Hanahan's offense, picking up nine kills. Cameron got some help from 
 Eva Jones and her 14 assists. Cameron was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with six aces.
 Hanahan has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 18-11-5 record  this season. As for Newberry,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-10-1.
 Hanahan will head out to  challenge Aynor  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Newberry does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
