Perhaps the best among them was   Morgan Williams, who  went 6 for 10  en route to 15  points along with six  boards and six  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Keana Venegas-Alvarez, who  posted nine points in addition to eight  assists and seven  steals.
 Kennedy  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 20  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least nine  offensive boards in six consecutive  matchups.
 Meanwhile,  Manual unfortunately witnessed the end of their  five-game winning streak on Friday. They were just a bucket shy of victory  and fell  32-31 to DSST: Cedar.
 Kennedy is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record  this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Manual, their  defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-2.
 Kennedy beat Manual 55-46  in their previous matchup  back in March of 2021. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kennedy since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
