The Platteview Trojans are taking a road trip to  face off against the Lexington Minutemen  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Platteview will be strutting in after a  win while Lexington will be coming in after a  loss.
 Platteview is headed out to face Lexington after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Platteview never let Crete onto the board and left with  a   14-0  victory  on Thursday.
 Platteview's success was spearheaded by the efforts of   Reiman Zebert, who gained 86 total yards and two touchdowns, and   Logan Grosdidier, who threw for 121 yards and a touchdown while completing 75% of his passes. Zebert didn't just play on offense: he also made four total tackles and defended two passes.
 Meanwhile, Lexington was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight  defeat. They took  a  35-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of Holdrege.
 Lexington might have lost, but man,  Cesar Cano was a machine:  he rushed for 150 yards while picking up 9.4 yards per carry. Cano was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run  that went for 62 yards.
