The Crestview Bulldogs's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They breezed by Baldwin County on the road to the tune of 45-11. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Crestview has posted yet this season.
Crestview can attribute much of their success to Gracie Boydstun, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 16 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Boydstun has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Natalie Toney, who scored 13 points along with three steals and three blocks.
Crestview is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season. As for Baldwin County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crestview will take on Gulf Breeze at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Gulf Breeze has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Baldwin County, they will be playing at home against Orange Beach on Wednesday. Orange Beach presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Baldwin County in Alabama (Orange Beach is ranked 119th, while Baldwin County is ranked 279th).
